Rosy Steely P.T.
The “Rosy Steely P.T.” is a fly pattern available only at Trophy Waters Flyfishing Shop. This pattern is a take-off of the killer long time producer. Wrapped with lead and sporting a tungsten bead this small sexy nymph gets down like James Brown song.
Pheasant tail dyed red is used for the tail, and abdomen. The rib is copper wire and the thorax is peacock with red flash for the wing case. The fly is finished off with a turn or two of hungarian partridge dyed olive.
This fly belongs in any steelheaders box that fishes with nymphs. The size #6 is a great swinging fly to trail behind a Silver Hilton or Green Butt Skunk.
This pattern is killer for trout and steelhead.
